Leonora Loeb is a visual artist from NYC. She received her BA in Fine Art from Pitzer College, CA; and received her MFA in NYC from the School of Visual Arts in 2010.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Leonora Loeb is a visual artist from NYC. She received her BA in Fine Art from Pitzer College, CA; and received her MFA in NYC from the School of Visual Arts in 2010.


A dual citizen of the USA and Italy, Leonora has worked in the US and abroad; and received support from institutions such as Mabou Mines,
NYC; Chashama North, NY; Makor/Steindhardt, NYC; and La Llotja, Barcelona, Spain.


She has participated in numerous exhibitions in the NYC area including Perry Rubenstein Gallery, Momenta Art, Front Room Gallery, Underdonk Gallery, and The Gateway Project.


Leonora has worked on collaborative multi-media projects for venues such as The Clock Tower
Gallery (No Longer Empty, Meenakshi Thirukode, Pamela Matsuda-Dunn), LIC, Queens; Northside Town Hall (Fieldtrip Project, Andy Monk, Pamela Matsuda-Dunn, Larry Dunn), Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

 

She curated a multi-media group show at Vaudville Park, Williamsburg, Brooklyn; and cocurated (with Andranik Aroutiounian) two solo shows at Opus Projects, NYC.


Leonora is based in NYC and is full-time faculty in the Visual Studies department at LIM College.
