Her main interest is in the visual possibilities that result from taking pieces of information that are seemingly not related and translating them into a new image. JENNY NIJENHUIS
As a visual artist Jenny’s exploration through sculpture, photography and installation seeks to answer questions such as: “Who am I?”; “What is freedom and does it exist?” In 2016 she devised and received extensive international press coverage for "SA’s Dirty Laundry" public installation in South Africa.

Staging scenes plays an important role in Anna's practice. The intellectual and artistic ground of the '50s and '60s in the United States is a great source of inspiration for her art. The aesthetic appearance of this era has a big impact on her visual thinking, as well as exploring femininity and the female identity.
