Olivia Faye Lathuillière Explores
Body and Movement
Olivia Faye Lathuillière is a Canadian visual artist, performer, and choreographer. Her work is placing the body and the movement in the center of the artistic approach.
Lathuillière constantly juggles between photography, video and physical work. It usually starts with a single image, a photograph, a song that inspires her or just a shape, it also can be even just a mind-state or a thought, any of these can be a generator.

Daniela Kostova’s Future Dreaming
Project in Vienna
For the 12th year of wrapping the Ringturm building in Vienna, Austria, curator Philippe Batka selected the work of artist Daniela Kostova.
Future Dreaming is precisely what Kostova is seeking in her recent works. This relationship between destruction and creation, how art and creativity can turn the negative into the positive, the bombarded areas into adventure playgrounds, the tragedy into a chance, and how to find this balance in which the history, the present and the future live together, and one is not at the expense of the other.

Khouni Island Recreates The World
in Collages
Artist Vincent Khouni, better known as Khouni Island, likes to recreate the world with his simple taste. One philosophical question behind his glue and images is,’ If you could recreate a world in your image, what would it look like?’ For Khouni, every collage is a new idea, a new world, a different universe.

Khouni began making collages thanks to dada artists like Hannah Hoch and contemporary artists like Julian House.

Cathy Immordino Uses Photography Like a
Painter Uses Paint
Cathy Immordino is a Los Angeles-based photographer, whose layered images form composites of personal experience and public spaces.
Initially Immordion's work used to just be photography, but she found this to be very limiting for her freedom of expression. The more she grew, the more she realized that she didn't have to stick to a preconceived idea of a photograph existing as what can be captured within the framing of what is seen in the camera viewfinder.

Artist Ksé develops her practice with a focus on small paper based drawings
Ksenia Kostetskaia (Ksé) is developing an art practice with focus on small drawings on paper, with graphite, liner and pencil, and aquarelle pencil. Each illustration is a story the audience creates for itself.
Ksé grew up in an artistic environment, her father was a professional artist. After the birth of her child she started envisioning some imagery and decided to put them on paper.

Aurora Sciabarra Investigates Human Impact on The Environment
Aurora Sciabarra is a visual artist whose practice spans from the disciplines of painting, to collages and installations. Through her work she investigates to what extent the human beings' way of living can affect the environment.

Sciabbarra's works that focus on environmental issues are based on a process that mirrors that of natural entities, the slow development, highly intense labour and repetition. She normally begins by making a cast to use for the object she'd like to make and from it, layer after layer, develops the piece.

The 2019 'LA BIENNALE DI VENEZIA' prizes have been presented during the Awards Ceremony and Opening at Ca’ Giustinian, Venice.
The Jury of the 58th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, comprising Stephanie Rosenthal (President of the Jury, Germany), Defne Ayas (Turkey/Netherlands), Cristiana Collu (Italy), Sunjung Kim (Korea), and Hamza Walker (USA), has decided to present the awards:

and Change
Shahar Kramer is a multi-media artist that works in sculpture, video and art direction. Her main theme is movement and kinetic relations. She likes combining low and high, ugly and pretty, sexual and static.
Kramer puts an emphasis on kinetic objects because process is very dominant in her work.

Darrell Black Invokes Emotion
With a Message
Darrell Black's art practice has always been a journey of self-discovery.

Black's journey began during early childhood, as he got older, he began to learn about other artists, primarily the artwork of Pablo Picasso, who he greatly admired and wanted to emulate.
